It's about time that all together we stop calling any immigrant and alien. Last time I checked, an alien was also defined as an extraterrestrial being, which in fact is a form of life assumed to exist outside the Earth or its atmosphere. What about having a real debate to define what an alien really is; because the high school students I talk to in my neighborhood are quiet confused!
Spread nothing but Love on the face of the earth and guess what? It will only get better.
Below is a poem I wrote to help anyone meditate on the “true origin” of all immigrants around the world.
The immigrant
What a nice word, immigrant
Tell me who he really is
Please tell me it is imminent
He needs to know who he is.
He is still wondering and begging
He is everywhere life can be.
It could be you; it could be me
He is on the move constantly.
At the beginning he knew who he was
Down the road he lost his identity
At the end he will get back his dignity.
Adam and Eve know him certainly
They are who he is and he is who they are
Maybe it is you or the human next door.
We will all get back where we belong
We are all on the move like Mama Earth
When our journey will end it will be no birth
It will be answers, truth and revelations.
Now tell me who he really is
Maybe you see yourself with emotions
Now the immigrant may know who he is.
